OUR BEGINNINGS

Founded between Muhammed Or and Uthman Sudais in 2019, Uthman's Dream Incorporated with the aim of allowing every child to pursue their dreams and recognise their potential.

2018

  • Uthman arrives in Australia

  • First meeting between Muhammed and Uthman

  • First volunteer trip to Uganda

2019

  • Land donated by Uganda Muslim Supreme Council to UDI for - Kitgum 1

  • Uthman's Dream Incorporated founded

  • UDI board appointed (Australia and Uganda)

  • Registered charity

2020

  • 2020 Fitre/Ramadan campaign

  • COVID-19 relief campaign

  • 2020 Qurban campaign

2021

  • Partnership with AWF and JCBA for Kitgum 1

  • 2021 Ramadan foodbank (exceeds 2020)

  • 2021 Qurban campaign (exceeds 2020)

2022

OUR ORGANISATION

UDI is a not-for-profit organisation currently operating with sponsors and donations with no administration costs involved.
We believe transparency is key, with all donations being utilised sustainably and directly to those in need. Accountability reports provided upon request.

As a grassroots charitable organisation, all internal Uthman's Dream team members are unpaid.

 
 
 

OUR TEAM

As the old proverb goes, it takes a village to raise a child, and so it is to build an organisation with the resources to empower a village and beyond. 

The team at Uthman's Dream Incorporated came together under the shared vision to help achieve this lofty vision.

Our team comprises an Executive Board, responsible for building and coordinating a strong network of organisations and individuals to conduct our work.
