What Is Kitgum 1?
Kitgum one is a transformative project dedicated to creating a nurturing environment for orphans and vulnerable children. Our vision is to establish a township that offers comprehensive support, from housing and education to recreational facilities, ensuring that every child has the foundation to thrive. This initiative is more than just a shelter; it is a beacon of hope and a model for sustainable development that can be replicated in other communities globally.
Uthman's Dream Incorporated aims to build a self-sustaining, safe and secure township for orphans, with on-site boarding, education, sports grounds and facilities for the wider community.
With the successful establishment and maintenance of Kitgum 1, the model can be expanded and repeated throughout disadvantaged communities around the world.
What Kitgum 1 Will Do
Provide Care.
At Kitgum one, we prioritize the well-being of each child by offering a safe and secure living environment. Our dedicated team provides round-the-clock care, ensuring that every child receives the emotional and physical support they need to heal, grow, and flourish.

With our network of volunteers and extended team members, UDI can streamline the use of resources to allocate aid and directly provide support and hope to those most in need.
